Do You Know the Truth?

Today I want to review what Truth  is:

IN CHRIST

I am accepted...

John 1:12 I am God's child.

John 15:15 As a disciple, I am a friend of Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:1 I have been justified.

1 Corinthians 6:17 I am united with the Lord, and I am one with Him in spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 I have been bought with a price and I belong to God.

1 Corinthians 12:27 I am a member of Christ's body.

Ephesians 1:3-8 I have been chosen by God and adopted as His child.

Colossi ans 1:13-14 I have been redeemed and forgiven of all my sins.

Colossi ans 2:9-10 I am complete in Christ.

Hebrews 4:14-16 I have direct access to the throne of grace through Jesus Christ.

I am secure....

Romans 8:1-2 I am free from condemnation.

Romans 8:28 I am assured that God works for my good in all circumstances.

Romans 8:31-39 I am free from any condemnation against me and I cannot be separated from

the love of God.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 I have been established, anointed and sealed by God.

Colossi ans 3:1-4 I am hidden with Christ in God.

Philippians 1:6 I am confident that God will complete the good work He started in me.

Philippians 3:20 I am a citizen of heaven.

2 Timothy 1:7 I have not been given a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.

1 John 5:18 I am born of God and the evil one cannot touch me.

I am significant...

John 15:5 I am a branch of Jesus Christ, the true vine, and a channel of His life.

John 15:16 I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit.

1 Corinthians 3:16 I am God's temple.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 I am a minister of reconciliation for God.

Ephesians 2:6 I am seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenly realm.

Ephesians 2:10 I am God workmanship.

Ephesians 3:12 I may approach God with freedom and confidence.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all thing through Christ, who strengthens me.

My Prayer For Salvation

Dear Jesus Christ,

I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that only you can forgive sins. I ask you to come into my heart, forgive my sins, and be the ruler of my life. Thank you for saving me from my sins. I now know that only you are my source of eternal life and entrance to heaven. I enter this into this covenant with you. Amen.

Justification

What is justification?

Justification-The act or event when God both declares and make a person just or right with
him (Rom 5:9).

Justification is not accomplished by personal merit or good works (Gal 2:5)
but by God's grace through personal faith in Christ (Eph 2:8-9).

To be justified is have peace with God and hope for eternal life. (Titus 3:5-7)

How wonderful is this? To have peace with God!!

This is a comfort to many of us. When things are not going our way in this world
it is a comfort to know I have peace with God. The Holy Spirit is also know as
the comforter.

How beautiful and wonderful is that!

So everyone wants to be blessed by the Lord.

This is what the (Mark 4:2-4)KJV says:

"And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear:

  with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you" 

So what does that mean? 

If you believe the Word of Jesus Christ then you shall have it. Your blessing come by the measure of your faith.

If you have doubt in your faith or what the word says then don't expect the blessing to come to pass. You are measured by your faith.

I believe children understand the gospel better than adults. Children take God at his word instead of putting buts in the way!

I didn't have no doubt
I knew that the Lord would bring me out

Said, "Lord, help me please"
Got up singing and shouting the victory

Today we are going to talk about casting all your cares on the Lord.

1 Peter 5:8
                  "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God;
                   that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care 
                   upon him; for he careth for you."

I love this verse! Any problem I have I can pray to God my problem 
and let him handle it. I don't have to worry about anymore. God has got it covered. The devil hates it. But I don't listen to him. I know God is taking care of it. He knows better what the solution is than I do. 

Praise the Lord!!!
